Preferred Member:
A "preferred member" is a backend or full service debt settlement company seeking to join the association and includes the following:

Affiliate Membership:
An "affiliate member" is a membership under the umbrella of an existing "preferred member" who is required to use a TASC backend company. An affiliate membership includes the following:
- Discounted rates to Annual Conference
- Invitation to the member only workshop

- MultiState daily legislative updates
- State and federal regulatory insight
- Login credentials for member section of the website
- Monthly member only conference call
- Use of TASC disclosure statement

Industry Alliance Membership:
An industry alliance member works in concert with the debt settlement industry in some manner. This membership includes creditor, collector and debt buyer companies, settlement software companies, credit card marketing and card industry companies and others associated in some manner with the debt settlement industry. An industry alliance member is actively looking to effect positive interaction among all parties while supporting TASC standards and guidelines. Industry alliance membership includes:
- Company logo and short company description posted on the TASC website
- Possibility to be elected to the TASC board at large and to serve on a TASC committee
- Discounted rates to the annual conference
- Invitation to member only workshops
- Login credentials for member section of the website
- Access to monthly member only conference call
- Use of TASC logo on website
Vendor Membership:
A "vendor" provides services to the debt settlement company such as lead generation, software, marketing, payment process servicing and more. Vendor membership includes:
- Company logo and short company description posted on the TASC website.
- Allows you to quickly establish credibility with debt settlement member companies.
- Prime placement at the annual Conference
- Discounted rates to annual Conference
- Invitation to the member only workshop
- State Law Guide provided by Greenspoon Marder
- MultiState daily legislative updates

Provisional Members:
Provisional Members are companies that have passed through the initial TASC application and review process and are currently undergoing a final 30 day review before being moved into a Preferred or Affiliate membership.
What is Accreditation?
A process conducted by an independent third party accreditation and/or certification company approved by TASC™ to demonstrate a member’s adherence to TASC Standards. Members must comply with a minimum yearly accreditation review process by the above mentioned independent third party accreditation and/or certification company.
Accredited Members:
Member companies (either Preferred or Affiliate) will be known as Accredited Members once their materials and operations have been Accredited by an approved independent third party accreditation company. This Accredited status must be renewed annually and is supplemental to the Preferred or Affiliate membership.
